A brief history of the Brevi brand

Brevi is one of Italy’s leading companies in the early childhood sector, founded in 1954 in Telgate, in the province of Bergamo, by Giuliano Brevi together with his brothers Attilio, Annibale and Romano.

History
The birth of the brand
Right from the start, the company has stood out for its ability to innovate, consolidating its presence in both the Italian and international markets.
Thanks to a constant focus on quality, safety and design, Brevi has, over the years, become a benchmark for ‘Made in Italy’ pushchairs, car seats and children’s products, whilst also collaborating with highly renowned international brands, including Hello Kitty.

In 2024, the Brevi brand was acquired by Foppapedretti Spa, a long-established company based in Grumello del Monte, as part of a strategy to expand and consolidate its position in the early childhood sector. The transaction represents not only a significant industrial merger, but also an initiative with strong emotional and symbolic value: Bianca Brevi, wife of Foppapedretti’s founder Ezio Foppa Pedretti, was in fact the sister of the founders of the Brevi brand.
With this acquisition, Foppapedretti aims to enhance a historic brand in the Italian early childhood sector by revitalising its identity through new investments and a renewed strategic vision.
